Woman attacked by stray dogs in Saidapet

A 70-year-old woman is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Vadapalani after being bitten by stray dogs near her house in Saidapet on Thursday (October 23, 2025) evening. She also suffered injuries while trying to escape the dogs. A senior official of the city police said Bala Soundarya, a resident of Rangarajapuram, was returning home via Sri Nagar Colony of Saidapet when she was chased by a pack of four or five stray dogs.
