Mumbai: A fire broke out in an industrial unit at Seepz Gate no. 2 in Andheri East on Wednesday morning. The officials of the Mumbai Fire brigade have extinguished the fire within half an hour. No injuries were reported in the incident, confirmed the fire officials. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Disaster Management Cell, the incident was reported at around 10 am in Vijay Nagar, near Sun City Hotel, within the MIDC area. The fire was confined to an industrial unit. Firefighters from the Mumbai Fire Brigade rushed to the spot and immediately brought the blaze under control. Multiple agencies, including the fire brigade, local police, Adani utility staff, and ward personnel, were mobilised as a precautionary measure to manage the situation and maintain safety in the area. Officials confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. The fire was completely extinguished by 10.17 am. While the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined, authorities will conduct further inspections to establish the origin of the blaze.
