Mumbai: A fire broke out on the terrace of a residential high-rise in Lower Parel on Sunday morning. The incident occurred at Shanti Apartment, located next to Deepak Cinema on N M Joshi Marg, and was reported to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at 10:48 am.According to preliminary information, the fire is believed to have been triggered by a short circuit in the electric duct situated on the terrace of the ground-plus-16-storey building. The fire was brought under control and extinguished by 11:12 am, officials said.In response to the alert, fire brigade teams, local police, and BEST officials were mobilised to the scene. No injuries or casualties were reported, and all residents were safe.Meanwhile, a minor fire broke out in a godown on New Link Road, Oshiwara, Jogeshwari (West) on Sunday morning. The incident was reported to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at 10:16 am, and the fire was brought under control and extinguished by 10:30 am, officials said.
