A shocking and heartbreaking incident has come to light from the Taj Mahal complex in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. An elderly man was found unconscious and tied inside a locked car parked near the western gate. The incident has raised serious questions about human sensitivity and responsibility. According to Aaj Tak, the man had been locked inside the car for several hours. The extreme heat and humidity had made his condition critical. He was tied up with clothes, which made the situation even more suspicious. The matter came to light when a guard on duty noticed the car was parked in a weird manner. When he looked inside, he saw the elderly man lying motionless. His hands and legs were tied. Alarmed by what he saw, the guard called for help. With the help of other staff members, he broke the car's window and pulled the man out. The man was given water, but he was in such a bad condition that he could not speak. An ambulance was called, and he was rushed to the hospital. His condition remains critical. Eyewitness Mohammad Aslam, a local tourist guide, said, "The man was tied and unable to say anything. The whole scene was very disturbing." Reports suggest that the car had a Maharashtra number plate. A 'Maharashtra Government' sticker was also pasted on it. Luggage was tied to the roof of the vehicle, which made officials believe that a family had come from Maharashtra to visit Agra. It is suspected that the family left the man locked in the car and went to see the Taj Mahal. Inspector Kunwar Singh confirmed that the case appears to be one of negligence or inhuman behaviour. "We are investigating the car owner and trying to find out exactly what happened," he said. The incident has sparked outrage among locals and tourists. Many are questioning how anyone could treat an elderly person in such a cruel manner. The police have begun a detailed investigation. They are also checking CCTV footage and tracing the family linked to the car. Strict action is likely to be taken once all the facts are confirmed.
