The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on Saturday released the mock allotment results for TG EAMCET 2025 engineering admissions, giving students a crucial insight into potential final seat allocations. The mock allotment is now live on the official counselling portal tgeapcet.nic.in, allowing candidates to review their provisional allotments and modify their choices before the final seat allocation. A total of 94,059 candidates participated in the first-phase web-based counselling, but only 77,154 students received mock allotments, leaving 5,900 seats vacant across 172 engineering colleges in the state. This year, the TSCHE introduced the mock allotment to help candidates gauge their chances of securing admission based on their rank, category, gender, and preferences. The move is expected to reduce vacant seats in the final round and enable better decision-making among aspirants. Education experts advise students to treat this mock round as a diagnostic tool and adjust their choices accordingly during the window for option modification. This is your opportunity to: Candidates are encouraged to review the college-wise and branch-wise allotment details, which will be published on the official website by July 13. The final seat allotment results will be released on or before July 18, 2025. Those allotted a seat must then proceed to self-reporting, pay the admission fee, and confirm their seat at the respective colleges within the specified time frame. Despite the large number of web option entries, over 16,900 candidates did not receive any allotment in the mock round. Officials say this is largely due to limited or overly competitive web options selected by candidates. Students are advised to expand their choice list to include more realistic options based on their rank and category to improve their final allotment chances. BENGALURU: Counselling for medical and dental seats in the state has ended on a high note, with all MBBS and BDS seats - which are counselled by Karnataka Examinations Authority - have been filled this year.
