Ranchi, June 30: The continuous heavy rain in Jharkhand has broken all records. Jharkhand has recorded the highest monsoon rainfall in 11 years. In the entire 11 years (from 2015 to 2025), the highest rainfall has been recorded in East Singhbhum district (Jamshedpur). 607.8 mm rainfall has been recorded in the district. East Singhbhum district has not received so much rainfall in 11 years. Ranchi is at second place, where 600.5 mm rainfall was recorded in the month of June this year. Similarly, 508.7 mm rainfall was recorded in Latehar district. 501.6 mm rainfall has occurred in Saraikela Kharsawan district in the month of June. 486.2 mm rainfall was recorded in Ramgarh, 441.6 mm in Simdega, 395.1 mm in Lohardaga, 382.5 mm in West Singhbhum district, 380.5 mm in Khunti, 375.4 mm in Chatra, 343.4 mm in Dhanbad, 322.2 mm in Gumla and 282.2 mm in Bokaro. 348.9 mm rainfall was recorded in the entire state in the month of June, which is the highest rainfall in Jharkhand during monsoon.
