According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy to very heavy rain is forecast over several regions in the next few days, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph. On June 28, heavy rainfall was reported at isolated places across the southern, central, and north-central parts of Jharkhand.
