New Delhi: Three robbers broke into the house of a businessman and allegedly threatened him and his wife with a sword, and made off with cash and diamond jewellery in south Delhi's Govindpuri on Wednesday. Police said the businessman had gone out for a family event and when he returned on Wednesday morning at 4am, he noticed some commotion in his house. "After knocking on the door, the businessman and his wife encountered the three robbers. When the robbers were spotted by the couple, they allegedly threatened them with a sword and fled with their valuables on a motorcycle," a senior police officer said. CCTV footage shows the three fleeing. A case has been filed at Govindpuri police station. "Teams have been formed to catch them," the officer said.
