Ghaziabad: Two persons were killed in two accidents on Tuesday night. While a man returning from Ghaziabad after supplying milk died in Dadri, a 32-year-old man lost his life, and another was seriously injured after a truck rammed their bike near Knowledge Park. Ranjit, a Chithaira resident, was returning home when an unknown vehicle rammed his motorcycle, police said. "The accident happened on GT Road near the telephone exchange. A passerby informed the police. A team immediately rushed to the spot and took him to the hospital, where Ranjit was declared dead by the doctor," a senior officer said. Ranjit's family members were informed, and his body was handed to them after the autopsy. Investigation is underway to identify and arrest the unknown accused. The second accident took place at Alpha roundabout under the police station Knowledge Park area, where a bike and a truck collided. "Ladpura resident Mukesh (32) died on the spot after a truck rammed his motorcycle. Devendra (38), who was on the pillion, is seriously injured and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. Passersby informed us about the accident. The truck and one person have been taken into custody. Further investigation is underway," the officer said.
