Panaji: A local court in Goa on Wednesday granted bail to Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, owners of Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, in connection with the fire at a Goa nightclub on December 6 last year that killed 25 people. The Court of the Additional Sessions Judge granted regular bail to the brothers in connection with the December 2025 fire at the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub. They were represented by Senior Advocate Subodh Kantak, instructed by Advocate Vaibhav Suri and SKRB Law Office. Despite bail, the brothers wont be released from the jail. Last week, the court had rejected the anticipatory bail pleas of Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra in a case involving the alleged forgery of documents to obtain an excise licence. The additional sessions court in Mapusa on Friday rejected the petition filed by the brothers.
