Hyderabad: A serious road accident took place in Banjara Hills on Monday. A home guard and a young woman died after a water tanker collided with a Rapido bike on Road No. 1. According to available details, a speeding water tanker hit the Rapido bike. The rider, Mohammed Hussain, was working as a home guard at Santoshnagar police station. He was 40 years old. Due to financial difficulties, he also worked part-time as a Rapido driver after completing his duty. Immediately after the crash, bystanders rushed the injured to NIMS Hospital. However, doctors declared both of them dead on arrival. The sudden deaths have left their families in grief. Meanwhile, the police registered a case and began an investigation. Noida: Liquor revenue in the city jumped by 35% in the first quarter of 2025-26 compared to the same period last year.
