An operation led by the Jammu & Kashmir Police (JKP) has uncovered a disturbing nexus of radicalised medical professionals, with a woman doctor now emerging as a central figure in a terror plot that spanned multiple states and involved a massive cache of explosives and weapons, News18 reported. The investigation, which began with the arrest of Dr. Adeel in Saharanpur, has since exposed what authorities describe as a highly radicalised network of doctors operating as a covert cell. The latest breakthrough came with the seizure of over 350 kilograms of explosive materials and sophisticated arms from a rented house in Dhauj village, Faridabad-just miles from the national capital. Arms Cache Linked to Woman Doctor Police sources told the news channel a vehicle registered in Haryana (HR55 CH STE), allegedly linked to the woman doctor, was found carrying an AK-47 rifle with three magazines, a pistol with live rounds, two empty cartridges, and additional magazines. The vehicle is now a key piece of evidence as investigators probe whether the doctor played a logistical role or was actively involved in the terror plot. Authorities are scrutinizing her financial records and communication history to determine the extent of her involvement. The possibility that she served as a conduit for transporting arms and explosives is under serious consideration. Explosives Meant for High-Impact Strikes The Faridabad raids, conducted at multiple locations including properties associated with another suspect, Dr. Muzzamil, led to the recovery of 14 bags of ammonium nitrate (weighing approximately 100 kg), an AK-47 rifle, 84 live cartridges, timers, five litres of chemical solution, and nearly 50 other components believed to be used in assembling improvised explosive devices (IEDs), according to a report in Hindustan Times.
