Imphal: A combined team of security forces have successfully recovered a substantial cache of arms, ammunition and explosives during search operations conducted from the night of July 3 to the morning of July 4 across the state. The operations, which were based on specific intelligence inputs, involved coordinated efforts by Manipur Police, Assam Rifles/Army, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) across the hill districts of Tengnoupal, Kangpokpi, Chandel and Churachandpur.The crackdown on illegal weapons resulted in one of the largest seizures in recent times, with a total of 203 weapons recovered.
