Gandhinagar: The first Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) will be held on Oct 9-10, focusing on showcasing the strengths of the northern region of the state, state industries minister Balvantsinh Rajput said on Tuesday. The two-day event will be held at the Ganpat University in Mehsana."This is the first of four regional conferences that the govt has planned across different zones, modeled on the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS)," Rajput said.Industries commissioner P Swaroop said the conference will see participation from national and international delegates, with Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, and the Netherlands agreeing to be partner countries for the event."Sectors such as agriculture and food processing, auto and auto components, green energy, and engineering will be the key focus areas. In addition to the four partner countries, several international organisations, including JETRO, will also participate," Swaroop told reporters.As part of the conference, a trade show will be held on the university campus from Oct 9 to 13, the official added.
