Over 1 L Engineering Seats Available for 2025-26: Technical Education Department

Hyderabad: The technical education department said in an official release that 1,07,218 seats were available in 171 institutions, including state universities, private universities and un-aided private engineering colleges for 2025-26. Of these, 76,795 seats are under the convener quota to be filled via TG Eapcet web-counselling. The department advised candidates during web-counselling to opt for as many courses and colleges as possible during the web options to get a better seat in the first phase. Candidates can exercise in web options up to July 10. Another 5,808 seats are available in 21 university colleges. Of these JNTUH has 3,210 seats across nine colleges, Osmania University 630 seats in two. The 148 private unaided engineering colleges have an intake of 99,610 with 69,727 seats available under convener quota, Of these, 130 JNTUH-affiliated colleges have 61,463 seats, 14 OU-affiliated 7,161 seats and four Kakatiya University-affiliated colleges 1,103 seats. A statement said 7,068 seats available in the university and its constituent colleges and private universities. In two private universities, 1,800 seats are available.
