Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday announced that every district in UP will soon have a 100-bed AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre to provide comprehensive healthcare through traditional systems like Panchakarma and Ksharsutra.Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University, Yogi said govt would also establish AYUSH colleges in six divisional headquarters.Yogi highlighted how traditional Indian medical systems received global attention only after 2014, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi created ministry of AYUSH, integrating Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, homeopathy and naturopathy under one umbrella.The CM said that the new university would not only offer quality education in all AYUSH disciplines but also become a major centre for research and development.
