Jaisalmer: Mukesh Kumari (37), an anganwadi supervisor from Khandela area of Jhunjhunu district, was killed by her lover, Manaram (38), a teacher at a govt school in Barmer, at his house in Jasai village in Barmer Rural Monday morning.According to police sources, Kumari had driven some 600km from Jhunjhunu to Barmer on Sept 10 to meet Manaram. She stayed at his house in Barmer city and came to his home in Jasai village Sunday night. On Monday morning, Manaram killed her with an iron rod at his house. To cover up the murder, he placed her body in the driver's seat of her car and left the vehicle in the bushes, making it look as if the car had veered off the road.Superintendent of police (SP) Narendra Kumar Meena told media that the police reached the scene and called in a forensic team and dog squad. He said the body was placed in the car to make the murder look like an accidental death."The reason for the murder is not yet clear, but it seems there was a dispute between the two, leading Manaram to commit the crime," Meena said.

Jaipur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Friday recovered Rs 9.35 lakh in cash from the vehicle of its own additional SP, Jagram Meena, near the Shivdaspura checkpost on the outskirts of Jaipur.
