Ahmedabad: The Gujarat high court received another bomb threat on Monday, marking the fourth such incident in the past three months. The court received an email from an unidentified sender, claiming that the building would be blown up. The court's registrar immediately informed Sola police, who arrived with a bomb disposal squad which sanitised the premises. No explosives were found, and the threat was declared a hoax.Inspector K N Bhukan of Sola police said, "The sender of the email made various allegations against the country's legal system and threatened to take revenge. A check of the premises confirmed that the threat was irrelevant and baseless." On Aug 19, a similar threat was received via email. On June 9, too, a threat prompted a search of the court and its temporary closure. A similar threat was received later that month.
