New Delhi: A day after bomb threats to three city schools, St Stephen's College in Delhi University's North Campus and St Thomas School in Dwarka Sector 19 received similar hoax emails on Tuesday morning. The threats prompted immediate evacuation and extensive searches by Delhi Police, including bomb disposal and dog squads, but no suspicious object was found at either location.According to police, St Stephen's College received the email around 7.15am. "The message claimed that four IEDs and two RDX explosives were planted on the college premises and in the library, warning that the devices would detonate by 2pm," a senior officer said. Teams from Maurice Nagar police station, North district's crime and control prevention squad, bomb disposal team and the dog squad were immediately sent to the campus. "The area was cordoned off and an anti-sabotage check was carried out. Nothing suspicious was found. No other college reported receiving similar threats," the officer added. A similar search was also conducted in the Dwarka school, but nothing suspicious was found. On Monday morning, Navy Children School in Chanakyapuri, CRPF Public School in Dwarka Sector 16 and CRPF School in Rohini received similar hoax threats. All three campuses were promptly evacuated and extensive searches were conducted, but nothing suspicious was found. Police are investigating the source of the threat emails.
