New Delhi: Nepal's interim government, led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, expanded the cabinet on Monday and inducted three ministers with the promise of better governance and improved economy for which the country's Gen-Z launched the protests last week. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office to the new ministers. Former MD of the Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, will head the Ministry of Energy, Urban Development and Physical Infrastructure. Om Prakash Aryal will head the Ministry of Law and Home Affairs, and Rameshwor Khanal will take charge of the Ministry of Finance. Ghising is credited with playing a crucial role in ending chronic power cuts during his tenure as executive director of the NEA. He was removed from the post in March by the Oli administration after a prolonged dispute. Aryal was a legal advisor to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Aryal.
