NEW DELHI: Congress party has shared a CCTV video of the shocking daylight shooting at Patna's Paras Hospital, accusing the Nitish Kumar government of allowing "goon rule" to prevail in Bihar. The footage showed four men calmly walking through the hospital corridor, opening the door to a room, firing multiple rounds at a patient, and then fleeing without resistance.The victim, Chandan Mishra, was a murder convict serving time in Beur Jail and was at the hospital on medical parole. He was shot inside the ICU and later succumbed to injuries. "The incident took place when the deceased had come for treatment at the hospital. He was on parole," confirmed Patna Central SP Diksha. "Prima facie, it appears that old rivalry might be the reason behind the murder."The Congress while sharing the video targeted the Nitish government over "lawlessness" in Bihar, saying, "Bihar's 'Goon Rule'.
