Hisar: Hansi police have taken four minors into custody in connection with the alleged killing of the principal of Kartar Singh Memorial Senior Secondary School in Bas village of Narnaund subdivision of Hisar district.School operator and principal Jagbir Panu, 52, a resident of Putthi village, was stabbed to death Thursday morning. The police are currently interrogating all the four.In charge, CIA (crime investigation agency) staff, Hansi, sub-inspector Pradeep Kumar and police station in-charge inspector Mandeep Chahal said during preliminary questioning, the juveniles revealed that they were angry with the principal for disciplining them, including reprimanding them for long hair and alleged drug use. Enraged by this, they allegedly stabbed him to death and fled the scene.According to the police, two minor students arrived at the school on Thursday. After finishing a unit test, they went to the principal's office and asked Panu to step out. Responding to their request, he came out of his office. The students led him to a spot, which was not covered by the CCTV cameras. There, one of the girl students pulled out a knife and attacked him. The principal collapsed, and the students fled immediately, causing panic in the school.The injured principal was rushed to a private hospital in Hisar, where doctors declared him dead.
