New Delhi: Two members of the Himanshu Bhau gang were apprehended after they were shot in the leg during an encounter with the Delhi Police Special Cell in Outer Delhi's Narela area in the early hours of Saturday.According to police, the duo -- identified as Bhumit Malik (21) and Mohit Vashisht (24) -- were wanted in connection with the murder of a man in Ritoli, Rohtak, on June 1. The victim, police said, was allegedly killed on the orders of gangster Himanshu Bhau, as he was the paternal uncle of Ankit -- the man who had earlier killed Bhau's cousin Rohit alias Baje and Rohit's uncle in Mar 2022.Acting on intelligence that the two suspects would be arriving in Narela armed with firearms, the Special Cell laid a trap.
