Hapur: Five individuals, including a father and his two daughters, were crushed to death by a canter truck in Hapur, while returning home on a single motorcycle after swimming. The horrific accident occurred on Wednesday night near Padav village, on the Meerut-Bulandshahr Highway, about 12 km from the district headquarters. The canter, reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road, collided head-on with the motorcycle. The impact was so severe that all five riders were thrown 10 feet into the air before landing under the truck's wheels. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. The deceased have been identified as Danish of Majidpura, his daughters Mayra and Samayra, his nephew Samar and a neighbor's son, Mahim. A poignant video surfaced showing Danish dancing with his wife at the swimming pool shortly before the tragedy, which was his last recorded moments. Danish's wife reportedly fainted upon seeing the bodies.
