Noida: A surprise inspection at an old-age home in Sector 55, Noida, on Friday, revealed the deplorable conditions in which the elderly residents were living, according to Meenakshi Bharala, Member of the Uttar Pradesh State Women's Commission. Bharala shared that during the visit, she saw a woman who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, while another inmate was locked inside the room. She added that the Ashram never conducted any medical check-ups of the inmates, she told ANI.
