Kurukshetra: Two bike-borne armed assailants fired multiple gunshots at a hotel located on NH-44 in Shahabad-Markanda town here Thursday. No one was injured in the shooting. The miscreants reportedly left behind a note with a name and contact number.The incident took place at the same spot where a liquor contractor was recently murdered. Talking to media persons, DSP (Shahabad) Ram Kumar said they got a call around 5am informing them about the shooting. A swift response team rushed to the scene, accompanied by the scene of crime unit, which began a detailed investigation. SP (Kurukshetra) Nitish Aggarwal also reached the crime scene shortly after the incident.
