Silchar: As Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) grapples with the aftermath of a major landslide, senior officials are racing against time to restore services in the Lumding-Badarpur hill section. On Thursday, NFR general manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava visited the severely affected Jatinga Lumpur stretch at km 108/7-8 to take stock of the ongoing restoration efforts.Accompanied by divisional railway manager (Lumding) Sameer Lohani, senior divisional commercial manager Amitabh Kumar Mishra, and other top railway officials, Shrivastava spent over 90 minutes at the site.
