Chandrapur: In a shocking incident captured on CCTV, a toll booth staffer was injured after a pickup vehicle driver ran him over in an apparent attempt to evade paying the toll near Ballarpur around 2 am on Sunday. The CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media.According to sources, the pickup truck was trying to bypass the toll gate without payment. When the toll employee attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver accelerated and ran the vehicle over him. The staffer, identified as Sanjay Wandhare (34), sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chandrapur.The driver fled the scene immediately, and a case has been registered against an unknown accused. Police have launched a manhunt to trace the absconding driver.
