Chikkamagaluru (Karnataka), Jul 16 (PTI) In a bid to manage weekend traffic congestion and mitigate environmental risks, the Chikkamagaluru district administration on Wednesday announced a new slot-based vehicular entry system to the hill station of Mullayanagiri, the highest peak in Karnataka. Chikkamagaluru: Chikkamagaluru: To ease weekend congestion and mitigate environmental risks in the Mullayanagiri area, the district administration has imposed restrictions on vehicle movement. Vehicles will now be allowed in two slots every day.A total of 1,200 vehicles will be permitted daily in two slots. In the first slot, between 6am and 12 noon, 600 vehicles will be allowed.
