CHENNAI: To install anti-drag features in all Metro Rail saloon doors in existing stations, the Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has signed a contract with Faiveley Transport Rail Technologies India Private Limited for a cost of Rs 48 crore. Chennai: The cause of Sunday's goods train derailment and fire near Tiruvallur, which affected rail services, is still under probe. The Tiruvallur collector said a crack was found on the tracks, raising concerns about maintenance. Railway officials denied this. "There was a crack on the track.
