Faridabad: Passengers narrowly escaped injury after a Haryana Roadways bus collided with a private bus near Sector 8-9 bypass road close to Badauli flyover in Faridabad on Thursday. The collision damaged the front and side mirrors of the Haryana Roadways bus. The driver of the private bus fled the scene.Vijay, the driver of the government bus, reported that while transporting 14 passengers from Ballabgarh to Badarpur, the private bus driver abruptly applied the emergency brakes in an attempt to avoid colliding with a Swift car. He could not apply the brakes in time and hit the private bus from behind. "My bus got completely mangled and hit a railing on the roadside," Vijay said. "I even chased the other bus on the bike of a bystander, but the driver managed to flee. I made a video of his bus," he said, adding that fortunately, no passengers were injured.An emergency response vehicle arrived at the location.
