Chennai: Three people were killed and three injured as rain battered several districts across Tamil Nadu on Tuesday night. While there was respite from the showers on Wednesday for much of TN, water bodies were overflowing, rivers were flooded, and low lying areas and paddy fields were inundated. Coimbatore: The recent showers have filled waterbodies in the Noyyal river system to the brim with the water overflowing from the Chithirai Chavadi check dam.An official from the water resources department said, "At present, the inflow to the check dam is around 750 cusecs.
