Shimla, April 8 (PTI) A major accident was averted in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district on Wednesday after a part of a road in a landslide-hit area sank when a state transport bus tried to pass over it, causing a front tyre of the bus to go over the edge and remain suspended, triggering panic among passengers and locals. According to officials, the incident took place on the Kugti-Bharmour road when the a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus carrying around 20 passengers was on its way to Bharmour.

Kullu: A massive landslide triggered by continuous rainfall destroyed an under-construction steel truss bridge in the Bharmour region of Chamba district on Tuesday morning.The landslide struck around 7am, sending heavy boulders crashing into the structure. Shimla, Aug 25 (PTI) Heavy to very heavy downpour in the 24 hours till Monday evening led to widespread destruction in Himachal Pradesh with houses being damaged at several places and around 795 roads, including two national highways, being closed. Jaipur, Aug 28 (PTI) The Rajasthan High Court on Thursday cancelled the contentious police sub-inspector recruitment exam-2021 owing to paper leak. Justice Sameer Jain in a detailed judgment cancelled the exam 2021 which was the bone of contention for both BJP and Congress governments in the state.
