Bhubaneswar: The second phase of the inventory of the Ratna Bhandar of Shree Jagannath Temple (Shreemandir) will begin from Wednesday, April 8. According to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) approved by the state government, the inventory process, which had started on March 25, will resume tomorrow morning. The exercise will be carried out for four consecutive days from April 8 to April 11. The inventory will remain suspended on April 12 (Sunday) and will resume on April 13. It will continue on April 14 and 15, followed by another three consecutive days from April 16 to April 18. Further dates for the inventory will be decided later after necessary consultations. The temple administration has assured that there will be no disruption to the daily rituals of the Trinity (Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra) during the inventory process. For security reasons, devotees will be allowed darshan only up to Bahar Katha. The darshan facility from Bhitar Katha will remain completely closed during this period.Authorized Palia Sevaks will, however, be allowed free entry into the Jagmohan and the sanctum sanctorum to perform the rituals. Special passes have been arranged for them and distribution of these passes began from today. SJTA Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee has appealed to all concerned to extend full cooperation during the inventory process, similar to the previous phase.

Ayodhya: A total of 45 kilograms of pure gold has been used in the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, according to Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Ram Temple Construction Committee.
