Jaipur: Thunderstorm and light to moderate rainfall were recorded across Rajasthan in the past 24 hours due to western disturbances, according to the meteorological department on Friday. The MeT office has forecast thunderstorms, gusty winds and rainfall in Bikaner, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota and Udaipur divisions on Friday, with the possibility of hail in some locations. Similar weather conditions, including strong thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail in some locations, are expected on April 4 over parts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur and the Shekhawati region. Thunderstorm and rainfall activity is likely to reduce slightly on April 5 and 6. However, a strong western disturbance is likely to become active from April 7, which may trigger fresh thunderstorms and rainfall activity in parts of the state.
Jaipur, Mar 30 (PTI) Strong winds swept several parts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, on Monday under the influence of a fresh western disturbance, with many places in the state witnessing light rain, the local meteorological department said. Jaipur, Apr 3 (PTI) Thunderstorm and light to moderate rainfall were recorded at isolated places across Rajasthan in the past 24 hours due to western disturbances, according to the local meteorological department on Friday. Padampur in Sri Ganganagar district received the highest rainfall of 11.5 mm, it said.
