New Delhi, April 2 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party has alleged a systematic crackdown on its leaders and workers in Gujarat ahead of upcoming local body elections, claiming that multiple FIRs and arrests have been carried out in recent months. In a letter addressed to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal flagged what he described as a coordinated attempt to weaken the party's presence in the state. He has also sought an urgent meeting with the Chief Minister, along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. According to Kejriwal, 145 FIRs have been registered and over 160 party workers arrested in Gujarat over the past three months.
