Mumbai, March 31: A deeply disturbing incident from Vasai has sparked outrage after a 57-year-old man allegedly tried to kill a 4-year-old boy over a trivial issue involving a parked rickshaw. The shocking attack took place at Anupam Ghar Complex on Monday evening around 7:30 pm, leaving residents horrified. According to police, the child was playing with other kids in the society when they climbed into a rickshaw owned by the accused, identified as Sandeep Pandurang Pawar. Enraged by this, the man allegedly lost control and singled out the young boy. In a brutal act, he reportedly smashed the child's head against an iron bar inside the vehicle, lifted him by his legs, and hurled him onto the cement floor. Vasai Police have arrested the accused and registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, including attempt to murder and provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
