Hyderabad: A nine-year-old boy tragically died by suicide after allegedly being bullied by his classmates for not wearing his school uniform correctly. Prashanth, a class 4 student from Hyderabad, was found hanging in the washroom of his home in Chandanagar. The police have recorded statements from his parents and are investigating the incident. According to a report by NDTV, Prashanth had been suffering due to persistent teasing from his peers about his uniform. On Tuesday evening, after returning home from school and finding himself alone, the boy reportedly went to the bathroom, where he used his school ID card lanyard to hang himself. Family members quickly took him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving the information, local police arrived at the scene and transferred the body to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem. After completing the legal procedures, Prashanth's body was taken to his village for the final rites.
