Wayanad: The post-mortem examination of a man-eater tiger, which was found dead outside a house near a forest in Pacharakolli here, revealed that it died from deep wounds on its neck. The four fresh wounds were inflicted on Sunday night, likely during a fight with another tiger. The tiger is estimated to be between five and seven years old. Forest department officials confirmed that this was the same tiger responsible for killing Radha, a tribal woman, on January 24. Remnants of clothing, hair, and earrings suspected to belong to the victim were recovered during the post-mortem. Addressing the media, Chief Wildlife Warden Pramod Krishnan stated that no internal injuries were detected during the examination. "The tiger was severely weakened after the fight.
