Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha tomorrow ahead of the impending Cyclone Montha. According to the IMD, isolated places in Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, and Kandhamal districts are likely to experience heavy rainfall, with amounts ranging from 7 to 20 cm tomorrow. Besides, heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Nuapada, Balangir, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Cuttack, Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur. Cyclone Montha is expected to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm by October 28 and make landfall near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.
