The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the Class 8 and 9 board exams 2025. In a notice dated January 26 available on the official website, JAC has announced the board exams for Class 8 are scheduled for January 28, and Class 9 exams to be held on January 29 and 30 are "deferred due to unavoidable reasons." The board will announce the new exam dates later. Moreover, JAC has already released the date sheet for Classes 10 and 12. The examination for both classes will begin on February 11 and conclude on March 3. JAC Class 10 board examination will commence with IIT and other vocational subjects, while the Class 12 examination will start with vocational subjects. The duration of the JAC for class 10 and 12 board exams in 2025 is 3 hours and 15 minutes, as mentioned in the official notification. JAC, in the notice, directed the exam officials to ensure that all examination-related materials provided by the council are safely stored.
The Maharashtra State Board has released the 2026 exam schedules for Class 10 and Class 12. HSC written exams are from February 10 to March 18, 2026. NEW DELHI/BATHINDA: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Friday conducted searches at 22 de-addiction centres across Punjab, including in Chandigarh, Barnala and Ludhiana, after its investigation revealed illegal sale of drugs by these centres. Nagpur: The Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) has almost completed the Rs 132.49 crore phase 1 of the Tajbagh renovation and beautification project and is now awaiting Rs 95.87 crore to start phase 2 of the project. NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has directed schools to hold placement drives for students completing Class 12 with vocational education in the 2025-26 academic year, aiming to enhance their employment prospects soon after graduation.
