The video of the crowd looting biryani went viral online, triggering a sharp reaction from users criticising attendees' civic sense. As the Bihar elections 2025 draw closer and the state becomes a hotbed of political activities in the state, parties and their candidates are leaving no stone unturned to win over voters. In one such attempt, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM)'s contender from the Bahadurganj Assembly seat in Kishanganj district, Tausif Alam, organised a Biryani feast for supporters, who showed up at the nomination event. One user wrote, "it's the politicians who should be working on improving Bihar for its struggling people! Imagine this in a poverty-stricken country, while India dreams of becoming a global leader by 2047." Expressing concern over the situation, the other user wrote, "these are the voters who will decide India's future. The leaders they elect will shape the nation."
