Chandigarh: A day after assuming charge, Haryana's head of police force (HoPF), O P Singh, on Wednesday reiterated that each and every police station in the state shall work as a service centre to ensure public trust by giving people a feeling of being safe and secure.DGP Singh has taken over as the HoPF after DGP Shatrujeet Kapur was sent on leave over allegations levelled against him by ADG-rank IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, who recently committed suicide.OP Singh swung into action within hours of taking charge and conducted a surprise check at Panchkula's Sector 7 police station.
