Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall lashed Odisha in the past 24 hours, with 10 places receiving significant downpours. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar, Bahanaga in Balasore district recorded the highest rainfall of 105.0 mm. Going by the information provided by Manorama Mohanty, Head of Regional Meteorological Centre, Other areas that experienced substantial rainfall include Balasore (93.6 mm), Soro (90.0 mm), Nilgiri (85.0 mm), Bhograai (79.0 mm), and Krushnaprasad in Puri district (79.0 mm). Additionally, Hatadihi in Keonjhar district received 75.2 mm of rainfall, while Jajpur recorded 70.0 mm.
