New Delhi: The Canadian government has designated the Lawrence Bishnoi gang as a terrorist entity. Officials say the gang targets specific communities and its activities pose a serious threat to society and the law. Strict legal action will now be taken against it in Canada, and its financial and political support will be completely suspended. This step was taken to maintain security and peace in the country. This action was taken on Monday, 29 September 2025, after months of reports that the Bishnoi gang had targeted pro-Khalistani groups in Canada over the past few years, including Sikh Canadian citizens.
