RAIPUR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against a father-son duo for their alleged role in the killing of BJP leader Ratan Dubey during the 2023 Chhattisgarh assembly elections.In an official statement issued by NIA, Shivanand Nag and his father Narayan Prasad Nag have been chargesheeted under sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in a supplementary filing before the NIA Special Court in Jagdalpur.According to the probe, both were active members of the banned CPI (Maoist) and part of a larger conspiracy driven by political, business, and personal rivalry with Dubey.Dubey, a prominent BJP face in Bastar's Narayanpur district, was brutally attacked with hand axes in November 2023 while campaigning at a crowded weekly market in Koushalnar village.
