Kolkata School Holiday on Sept 24, 25 Due to Rain: West Bengal state Education Minister Bratya Basu announced that all government-run educational institutions in West Bengal will remain closed on September 24 and 25, following Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's appeal to keep students off waterlogged roads and prevent electrocution-related accidents. Teachers and non-teaching staff have been directed to work from home to complete pending tasks during this period, before the holidays for Durga Puja take into effect, later-on this week.
