Mumbai saw extremely heavy rains on Monday. Many parts of the city are reportedly waterlogged due to the intense rain spell and high tide conditions. Severe waterlogging was reported in several neighbourhoods, including Kings Circle, Sion, Byculla, Mahalaxmi, and Peddar Road. Train tracks at Kurla collected water, slowing down the movement of local trains. Colaba recorded the highest rainfall at 88.2 mm. According to the IMD, the intense spells are likely to continue in Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad.
