Delhi's air pollution is getting worse every year, and it's becoming a big problem for the city's future. Just three weeks ago, the Delhi government told the National Green Tribunal (NGT) it was working on a 21-point plan to fight pollution. Sounds good, right? But yesterday, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) hit 490 out of 500 in many parts of the city. That's *hazardous*. Even with rules like banning diesel cars, stopping construction, and moving schools online, things didn't improve. People are struggling to breathe, even inside their homes with air filters. Hospitals are filling up with patients suffering from breathing problems. Why is this happening? The biggest issue is that Delhi is part of a region called NCR (National Capital Region), which includes parts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
