Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin, on Monday (September 15, 2025), welcomed the Supreme Court's partial stay on some of the key provisions of the Waqf (Amendment) Act 2025 brought about by the BJP-led union government. Mr. Stalin termed the order as a major step towards "undoing the unconstitutional and illegal amendments."
